I was made for fun

I was made for fun.  There is no doubt in my mind.   And it can be a heavy burden to bear, because, well...life isn't always fun.  #annoying  But if there is one thing I have learned here in my 30's - its sometimes you have to schedule in a block of fun.  You have to make it happen.  Fun is important.  You need to have fun, and a lot of it.  And that is just what Andy and I did last weekend.

We hit the road for a mini road trip to Dallas, dropped off our kids at my brother's house for the night, and hit up a Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, and Sam Hunt concert.  This is our thing.  We love live music.  Some people like to go to the lake, some people like to eat out at fancy restaurants, we like to go to concerts.  And we've learned, when you go, you really need to pay for the best seats in the house if at all possible.  So we made our way to the front and into the pit.  Best decision ever.  Nothing better than making eye contact, while singing along with the people who you normally just hear on the radio in your car.  If you've never tried it, you should.  And it produces awesome pictures as well.  So here's a few snapshots from our shot of fun.

And of course a million selfies.
