Homemade Hummus

Game changer. The Vitamix. Andy has had his eyes on a Vitamix for years. And that in itself is comical seeing as how I do all the cooking.   And I'm a tightwad and hello, EXPENSIVE!  But he wore me down.  I am kicking myself for holding out.

Amazing.

We started with a smoothie fest.  Smoothies for every meal.  Simply because it was fun.  But now I'm getting serious.  And I started with Hummus.  Pretzels and Hummus are a snack staple at our house and now I can make it in-house.  And in all honesty, you could probably use your blender.

2 cans of chickpeas, one drained and one with liquid
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/8 C lemon juice
2 garlic cloves
1/4 C water
1 T olive oil
1 tsp cumin

I just might have to do a Vitamix series.  Because I heart it that much. Did you know you can make soup and frozen desserts in your Vitamix?!?!?!  People.
